Huawei Honor 7i Hands-On

Last week TechTicker was in China for celebration of Honor’s 2nd anniversary where Huawei announced its foray in to IoT (Internet of Things) devices for smart home. Along with that, were displayed other Honor devices like the Honor 7i, the successor to Honor 7.

The flip camera of Honor 7i

The Honor7i biggest distinguishing factor is the flip camera that you can see in the picture. This main camera is 13 megapixel with dual led, flash, autofocus and supports HDR. The phone can record videos in 1080p quality

The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. The Honor 7i comes in two edition, one with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage and the other with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage. While visually both the devices look pretty similar.

7i comes in two versions

The phone runs Android Lollipop (5.1.1) with Honors UI called EMUI 3.1. Honor 7i has good built quality and premium looks. Unlike the Honor 7, the 7i back panel is designed beautifully and looks different. Honor will sell 7 and 7i both alongside. The phone supports LTE band and is available in three colours, White, Rose Pink and Gold.
