Samsung just updated its premium-looking Galaxy A series with 2016 edition of Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7. The refreshed trio now brings in improved performance, better design and Samsung Pay.
Although Galaxy A3 does not support Samsung Pay, the phone comes with decent hardware set like 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 13MP and 5MP cameras (rear and front), 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot, Dual-SIM support, Samsung KNOX and 2300mAh.
The Galaxy A5 on the other hand upgrades itself with a slightly larger sized 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 1.6GHz octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot, Dual-SIM option, 13MP rear camera with OIS and 5MP front, Samsung Pay support, fingerprint sensor and 2900mAh battery with fast charging support.
Galaxy A7 is the top-end phone of the refresh today with 5.5-inch Full HD display, 1.6GHz octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal and microSD card slot, 13MP OIS main camera, 5MP front cam, Samsung Pay, NFC, fingerprint sensor and 3300mAh battery with fast charging.
All the devices boast Samsung’s new design combining glass and metal and features a narrower bezel.
The phones will go on sale first in China from mid-December.
