Here’s some good news for those who want to Remote Play from a computer. Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida confirmed on Twitter that they’re indeed working on a solution that will bring the PS4 Remote Play feature on PC and Mac. Yoshida didn’t say anything when to expect it though.
Remote Play currently only supports on PS Vita and Xperia handsets wherein users can stream their PS4 interface on the supported device and use the DualShock 4 controller to control it.
Yoshida’s comment comes after a person managed to create an unofficial PS4 Remote Play app and plans to release it soon.
Microsoft on the other hand, supports similar streaming solution for its Xbox One but is limited only to Windows 10.
Some people asked if we plan to provide Remote Play function to PC, and yes, we are indeed working on an official application for PC/Mac. ๐
