HTC has the best-designed smartphones in the market but apparently, original and fresh designs didn’t really work the Taiwanese company, which is why they have announced the One A9. We won’t be surprised if you mistake it for the iPhone because the design is clearly inspired from the Apple’s offering. HTC says this is the evolution of the One series which now features brushed hairline detail and a multitude of colour options.
Nevertheless, the One A9 will woo the mid-range crowd with its premium design and mediocre specs. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core 617 64-bit processor and will have 2GB or 3GB RAM, depending the internal memory of 16GB or 32GB.
The phone will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and will come with 5-inch Full HD display with Gorilla Glass 4, a fingerprint sensor on the front, Dolby Audio support, 2150mAh battery with fast charge and a 13 megapixel main camera with OIS and a front-facing UltraPixel camera.
HTC will start selling the phone from next month in majority of the markets.
