Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor has expanded its smartphone lineup with the introduction of Honor 7. The metallic device is designed for single-handed use and features an attractive design, complete with the ceramic coating.
Honor 7 features a 5.2-inch display and for a mid-range price tag of Rs. 22,999, the phone boasts a fingerprint scanner that can authenticate a fingerprint in just half a second.
As for rest of the hardware, the smartphone is powered by HiSilicon octa-core Kirin 935 processor, 3GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. It also features a 20 megapixel rear-facing camera with an 8 megapixel one on the front and a 3100mAh battery.
The phone will go on sale from October 15 on Flipkart.
Huawei also showcased its Honor Band Z1 smartband that features a circular design and a brushed metal bezel. Priced at Rs. 5,499, the Honor Band Z1, the band is IP68 certified making it dust proof and water resistant. It will work in conjunction with the My FitnessPal app to display all the fitness data and even notify for calls and SMS. It will be available by end of this month and will have a three-day battery life.
