It’s raining smartphones and the latest one to join is Sony’s Xperia Z3+. Identified as Xperia Z4 in Japan, Sony is using the ‘Plus’ addendum to sell elsewhere, including India. True to its name, the Xperia Z3+ improves on some of the features to distinguish itself from the predecessor.
For instance, the Xperia Z3+ is just 6.9mm thin, weighs 144g and though the overall design looks more or less similar to the Xperia Z3, Sony has made some changes. The magnetic charging pin has been removed for a more seamless design, rounded plastic edges to absorb the accidental falls and capless USB port.
The phone is powered by Snapdragon’s 810 octa-core 64-bit processor, 3GB RAM and features 32GB internal memory with an option to expand through microSD card slot. Additionally, the phone has a 20.7 megapixel Exmor RS main camera, 5 megapixel Exmor R on the front, 5.2-inch Full HD Triluminos display, 4G LTE support, PS4 Remote Play support and 2930mAh with up to two days of battery life with Stamina mode.
The Xperia Z3+ will retail for Rs. 55,990.
