At the MWC yesterday, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge. Samsung claims the Galaxy S6 family was built from ground up with renewed thinking of materials and clutter free TouchWiz. The devices make use of metal and glass with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 adorning the front and back with a number of colour options.
The Galaxy S6 family is packed with state-of-the-art hardware like 14nm FinFET 64-bit octa-core processor, 3GB LPDDR4 RAM and UFS 2.0 internal memory starting from 32GB. The Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge does not have a microSD expansion slot nor a removable battery back, which was considered one of the highlights of a Samsung phone.
Furthermore, the phones have a 16 megapixel main camera with f1.9 lens, 5 megapixel on the front for selfies, UHD video recording support, built-in wireless charging support, 2600mAh battery, S Health 4.0 and suite of Microsoft apps.
Samsung will release the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge on April 10.
