HTC’s third and final announcement of the day was its entry into the virtual reality market. They’ve teamed up with Valve to create RE Vive VR headset. HTC says the Vive will support Valve’s SteamVR that will give users access to plethora of games and will be available to consumers before the end of this year during the holidays.
The developer edition is expected some time in Spring 2015.
The Vive offers a 1200×1080 pixel resolution support, 3.5mm headphone jack to plug in your favourite audio accessory and improved tracking with the help of embedded gyrosensor, accelerometer and laser position sensor.
