Pebble is one of the pioneers of the smartwatch market and the company today announced their next generation smartwatch – the Pebble Time. Pebble improves Time with a new colour e-ink display and despite the pastel coloured display, Pebble says the smartwatch has a battery life of up to 7 days.
Pebble Time is now 20 percent thinner than the original Pebble, features Gorilla Glass with stainless steel bezel, is water resistant, integrates microphone for voice notes or replies and even supports for standard 22mm watch bands.
Pebble has also improved on user interface with the new timeline feature that highlights what’s important for the day and works with both iOS and Android devices.
The smartwatch is originally priced at $199 but is selling from $159 on Kickstarter depending on the pledge you choose. The smartwatch will start shipping to customers in May this year.
