ET2040INK

Asus has announced a new all-in-one PC in the Indian market – ET2040INK. Priced at Rs. 24,999, the AIO is targeted at consumers looking for an affordable desktop without taking much physical space. The PC runs Windows 8.1 out of the box and features a non-touch 19.5-inch HD display, Intel Pentium J2900 2.41GHz quad-core CPU, 2GB RAM, 500GB HDD, integrated Intel HD graphics, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 1 megapixel camera and even an integrated battery of about an hour to save from accidental data loss through power outages.

Perhaps one of the most interesting thing that sets this AIO apart from others is the Hand-Gesture Recognition Software (HGRS) that uses the built-in camera to carry out computer functions. Think of it as Kinect for Asus AIO.

Additionally, the PC boasts 100GB cloud storage an RJ45 port, HDMI-out, 3 USB 3.0 and 3 USB 2.0 ports and a 3-in-1 card reader.

We’ve been using the AIO for the past few days and though we’ll reserve our thoughts for a full fledged review, the ET2040INK AIO PC has been performing well with our moderate use.
