Samsung in its home country has announced a new variant of the Galaxy Note 4. They’ve announced the LTE-A variant of the Galaxy Note 4 that supports Tri-Band Carrier Aggregation. In simple words, this new Galaxy Note 4 can reach a download peek of up to 300Mbps, making it four times faster than today’s 4G LTE service. The LTE-A Tri-Band CA enabled Samsung Galaxy Note 4 receives three different frequency bands and aggregates them into a single connection, supporting Category 6 network service with speeds of up to 300 Mbps. The company says the speed allows users to download a 700MB video in about 19 seconds or 10 songs with 40MB in about one second.
As far as other features are concerned, it’s more or less similar to the original Galaxy Note 4 with a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, 3GB RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat, 16 megapixel camera with front-facing 3.7 megapixel, S Pen input, Air Command, heart rate sensor, fingerprint scanner, Ultra Power Saving Mode, microSD card slot, 32GB internal memory and 3220mAh battery with Fast Charging.
There’s no info on the exact price but expect it to be available in the next few weeks in South Korea.
