Xiaomi has been selling the 3G variant of the Redmi Note and now they’ve confirmed the release of the 4G variant as well. Interested users can register their interest from 6PM today to be eligible for a sale on December 30 at 2PM. In addition to the obvious 4G connectivity support, the Redmi Note 4G also sports a few changes under the hood. The Redmi Note 4G is a single SIM variant compared to current Redmi Note that sports dual SIM card slots. Furthermore, the Redmi Note 4G is equipped with a Snapdragon 400 1.6GHz quad-core processor, which in our opionion, is a better option than the Mediatek variant.
Apart from these changes, we’re looking at a phone with 5.5-inch HD IPS display, 2GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 13 megapixel main camera with 5 megapixel front-facing camera and 3100mAh battery.
The Redmi Note 4G will sell for Rs. 9,999.
