The final piece of announcement to come out of Apple’s event was the updated Mac mini. The most affordable Mac machine now comes with a new processor and a lower starting price, giving users an opportunity to get a glimpse of the Mac OS at an affordable price.
The new Mac mini now features Intel’s 4th generation Intel Core processor, Intel HD 5000 graphics, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and two Thunderbolt 2 ports.
Mac mini comes in three SKUs: a 1.4 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 with Turbo Boost speeds up to 2.7 GHz, 4GB of memory, Intel HD Graphics 5000 and a 500GB hard drive starting at a retail price of Rs. 36,990, a 2.6 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.1 GHz, 8GB of memory, Intel Iris Graphics and a 1TB hard drive starting at price of Rs. 49,990 and a 2.8 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.3 GHz, 8GB of memory, Intel Iris Graphics and a 1TB Fusion Drive for Rs. 69,990.
