HERE Maps now available for Samsung smartphones

Nokia promised to bring HERE Maps on Android in October and true to their word, the maps solution is now available albeit exclusively on Samsung devices. The beta version currently works for a select number of Samsung devices and can be downloaded for free from the Galaxy Apps store.

Alternative to Google Maps, HERE enables free offline navigation with voice guidance and supports various views like maps, satellite, traffic etc.

There’s no word if HERE will extend the app to non-Samsung devices in the coming months.
