Opera releases Opera Mini for Samsung Gear S

If surfing the web on your wristwatch is something you fancy, Opera has confirmed the release of its Opera Mini web browser for Samsung’s Gear S. As you know Gear S is Samsung’s standalone smartwatch and Opera Mini will take advantage of the available 3G connectivity to allow web surfing and compress webpages, resulting in faster and cheaper web surfing experience.

Furthermore, Opera has made the Gear S-specific version more finger-friendly and includes a private web browsing option.

Just like the other platforms, Opera Mini will be available on the Gear S for free.
