Gionee launches GPAD G5 in India

Gionee has expanded its smartphone range by launching the GPAD G5 in the Indian market. The latest offering is priced at Rs. 14,999 and features respectable hardware like a 5.5-inch HD (720p) display, 1.5GHz hexa-core processor and 1GB RAM that promises smooth performance of the Android 4.4-based Amigo OS.

The 7.9mm thin device also features an 8 megapixel camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, Dual SIM support, Wi-Fi, 8GB internal memory, microSD card slot and 2400mAh battery.

The GPAD G5 will be available in the market in the coming days.
