HTC One (M8) has got a new Duo Camera companion in the form of a new Butterfly phone. The phone will sell as J butterfly HTL23 through KDDI in Japan but the rest of the world will recognise the device as the Butterfly 2. The water and dust resistant device runs the latest HTC Sense 6 UI and is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 2.5GHz quad-core processor along with 2GB RAM and a 5-inch Full HD display.
The phone also supports 4G LTE and comes with Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi support, DLNA, GPS, BoomSound as well as JBL LiveStage audio technology.
On the camera side, the Duo Camera features a 13 megapixel BSI sensor with the secondary camera capturing depth information, full HD video recording support and a 5 megapixel BSI sensor on the front.
Rounding up the spec sheet is the 2700mAh battery that promises up to 24 hours of talk time on 3G, 16GB or 32GB internal storage with the option to expand with the microSD card slot.
