Logitech X100

Logitech has a decent range of computer speakers but today we’re taking a look at the X100, its latest portable speakers targeted at tablet and mobile phone users.

The X100 is a compact speaker that boasts a disc-shaped design and a rubberized body, which would give you an impression of the speakers being waterproof but disappointingly, it isn’t. Nevertheless, the X100 looks rugged and durable enough for outdoors.

Logitech X100

The clean design places power, volume and Bluetooth pairing buttons on the side as well as the 3.5mm audio jack to play back from any non-Bluetooth device and microUSB port for charging.

Logitech X100

It’s a no frills setup with the Logitech X100. Once paired, all the audio from the mobile device routes through the wireless speakers and despite its small size, the X100 produces some good quality sound. The speakers are loud enough to be audible in a small room with crisp sound as well. The built-in mic can be used with voice calls. As for the battery life, we got about 4.5 hours of continuous playback and found recharging the battery was fast.

Overall, Logitech X100 is a no non-sense wireless speaker that comes in a variety of colour choices and has a decent battery life of up to 5 hours with satisfactory audio output. The Logitech X100 retails for Rs. 2,995.

Rating: 4stars
Pros: Compact, Good performance
Cons: NA
