LG today introduced its flagship phone – G3 completing the quartet of flagship launches amongst HTC, Samsung, Sony and LG in the Indian market. The phone was unveiled by Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan who highlighted the phone’s “simple” features.
The G3 will sell in India in two variants – 16GB and 32GB for a price of Rs. 47,990 and Rs. 50,990 respectively.
LG will also sell 15,000 limited edition G3 units with sign of Amitabh Bachchan, even giving select buyers to meet the actor.
As for the smartphone, the LG G3 is equipped with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with 538ppi and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz. The RAM is 2 or 3GB depending on the variant you choose and comes with a 13 megapixel OIS+ camera with laser autofocus, 2.1 megapixel on the front, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, A-GPS and removable 3000mAh battery.
On the software side, the G3 sports Smart Keyboard, Smart Notice and Smart Security with Content Lock and Kill Switch.
The phone will be complemented with a bunch of accessories like the QuickCircle case, Tone Infinim earphones, wirelesss charger and even the LG G Watch.
G3 buyers will get the QuickCircle Case for free along with a Rs. 5,000 discount voucher for the G Watch and a onetime screen replacement worth Rs. 6,500.
