Android screen mirroring was confirmed by Google at the Google I/O last month and the company has now starting rolling out the feature with the new Chromecast update. With the new v1.7 update, users will be able to stream their Android screen directly to the Chromecast-connected TV.
The feature will initially work on select devices where users will be able to use this feature after selecting “Cast Screen” in the Chromecast app while Nexus users will be able to do it through the quick settings menu.
While Google says you can cast “anything” on the Android device to TV, we’re not sure if Chromecast will be able to stream games.
