Sony unveils Xperia C3, emphasises on selfies

Sony just announced the Xperia C3 smartphone and is touted to be the “ultimate smartphone for selfies.”

The phone sports a 5 megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera with soft flash that offers 25mm with 80 degree field of view, thus allowing the user to capture more in a single frame. The Xperia C3 also boasts selfie-centric apps like AR effect, Portrait Retouch and the regular HDR mode and variety of camera options. At the back, we’ve got the 8 megapixel camera with Exmor RS lens.

Rounding things off, the Xperia C3 supports 4G LTE, 5.5-inch HD display, quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory and Stamina Mode 3.0 for improved battery life.

Xperia C3 will be available in black, white and mint from August 2014 starting with China.
