Toshiba unveiled the Satellite P50 notebook at an event in Mumbai yesterday. The USP of the notebook is its Ultra HD 4K display resolution, making it the first laptop in India to come with a 4K display.
The 15.6-inch notebook sports a resolution of 3840 x 2160 resolution, which is four times as any Full HD screen and is packed in some meaty hardware like 4th Gen Intel Core series processors, AMD Radeon R9 M265X graphics, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB HDD, USB 3.0 ports, a UHS-II SD card slot, HDMI port capable of 4K output and a built-in ODD, Harman Kardon speakers and unique Sleep and Music feature, allowing users to use the speakers even when the laptop is off.
The P50 does not compromise on design either, which is just 27.9mm thick and comes with a metallic finish.
The P50 is priced at Rs. 86,000.
Toshiba also unveiled new notebooks under Satellite S series, L series Portege Z30, Tecra Z40, hybrid notebooks like Z10t-A, L30W and Tecra W50 workstation.
