Google’s self-driving car project that was confined to walls of Google for the past few years has now advanced to the next stage. Google has started building some prototypes of the self-driving cars that features no steering wheel, accelerator and a brake pedal.
Google is limiting early vehicles’ speed to 25 mph and everything will be controlled with the help of software and sensors embedded in the car.
While a commercially available self-driving car is few years away, Google plans to pilot the car in California for the next two years.
