In a surprise move, Senior Vice President, Social for Google, Vic Gundotra is leaving Google. Gundotra’s 8-year stint with the company comes to an end as he announced his departure on his Google+ page.
Gundotra is credited to spearhead Google+ and even Google boss, Larry Page couldn’t stay away from applauding for creating “Google+ from nothing”.
According to Recode, VP of engineering David Besbris will take Gundotra’s place at Google.
There’s no word as to where Vic is headed next but he’s “excited” about it and hopefully share with us soon.
