Samsung’s Galaxy ‘Neo’ range is going to be big this year. After the Galaxy Grand Neo that surfaced a few days back, Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Note 3 Neo in Poland. The phone is a ‘mini’ version of the Galaxy Note 3 that will enable users to enjoy the S Pen functionality at a slightly cheaper price and a bit less powerful hardware.
The Galaxy Note 3 Neo supports S Pen along with Air Command that expands S Pen’s functionality and features similar software enhancements like Easy Clip, new Multi Window, My Magazine, S Translator, Air View etc.
Hardware-wise the Android 4.3 running device has a 1.6GHz quad-core processor in case of a 3G variant or a hexa-core processor (1.7GHz A15 dual-core + 1.3GHz A7 quad-core) in case of an LTE variant, decent 2GB RAM, 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display (720p), 8MP rear-facing camera and 2MP front-facing, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, microSD card slot, 16GB internal storage, 3100mAh battery and infrared port for universal remote.
There’s no word on the price but expect the phone to be 100 to 150 euros cheaper than the flagship version.
