There’s no denying that there’s a good demand for phones priced in the sub-Rs. 15,000 range in India and with Motorola launching the Moto G in the international market, it was a matter of time, Motorola would mark its re-entry in the Indian market with this budget offering. Motorola on their official Twitter account confirmed to reveal more details regarding the Moto G in India on February 5.
The Moto G is a nicely spec’d device with a 4.5-inch HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core CPU under the hood, Android 4.4 KitKat, 5MP camera, 8MP camera and the usual Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS.
There’s no word on the price but the previous rumours have suggested it to be in the range of around Rs. 13,000. The US price of the device starts from $179 and is also available in the Google Play Store as a Google Edition device.
