As part of global strategy, Apple discontinued the sales of its iPhone 4. However given the low market share, Economic Times reports that Apple may relaunch the device in India to pull back some market share in the hyper competitive Indian smartphone market.
The relaunched iPhone 4 will boast an 8GB storage and will be priced at around 15,000 after buyback and EMI schemes.
The relaunch of the iPhone 4 could give some breathing space to Apple as they don’t have a single device in that price segment.
The phone is rumoured to hit the shelves as early as next week.
