LG Lifeband Touch

This year’s CES is truly the show of wearables and since so many companies announced their set of wearable gadgets, LG too, announced their wearable duo – Lifeband Touch and Heart Rate earphones.

Lifeband Touch as you’d expect competes in the competitive smart activity tracker market that boasts a stylish design and features a touch OLED panel on the top to carry out different functions. The band has a 3-axis accelerometer, altimeter and can accurately measure number of steps, control music, compatible with iOS and Android.

The LG Heart Rate Earphones is an interesting product that can track a user’s heart rate with the help of earphones. It features PerformTek’s sensor technology which measures blood flow signals from the auricle – the external part of the ear to capture accurate biometric data. The earphones can even be synced with the Lifeband Touch for a seamless experience.

Both the accessories will go on sale in the United States sometime in the first half of 2014.
