Huawei announced the Ascend Mate2 here at the CES that will take over from its predecessor Huawei Ascend Mate. The Ascend Mate2 is thinner and light weight than its predecessor and has a nice big display in the same physical size.
Technically, the Ascend Mate2 has a 6.1-inch display with a 1280×720 resolution, the Chinese phone maker claims the resolution is sharper due to the technology integrated known as ‘Enhanced HD’.
The phone has Android 4.2 with Emotion UI 2.0, 13 megapixel back-facing camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera, Snapdragon processor for international markets while Huawei’s own chip in China, Wi-Fi, GPS, 4G LTE support and 4050mAh battery.
The battery is obviously the biggest highlight that also doubles up as a reverse charger that can charge other USB powered gadgets.
