At the CES 2014, Huawei officially announced the successor of its Ascend Mate phone, aptly named as the Ascend Mate . It boasts the same display size as the predecessor but Huawei has managed to shave off some millimeters and weight.
The Ascend Mate2 features a 6.1-inch display that has 1280×720 pixel resolution but Huawei claims it has an ‘Enhanced HD’ display that makes the text and images sharper. Furthermore, there’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean running onboard with Emotion UI 2.0, a 13MP BSI main camera with 5MP front-facing camera for improved selfies.
There’s also Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE support, 4050mAh battery with reverse charging that makes it work like an external charger for other devices and will be powered by Huawei’s own processor in the Chinese market while the rest of the world will get Qualcomm Snapdragon.
