LG has confirmed to showcase its webOS-powered Smart TVs at the CES 2014. LG believes the use of webOS will facilitate developers to develop apps faster and easier and even help consumers with an easy-to-use user experience.
The TV will also feature Simple Switching for easy multitasking and Simple Discovery for better discovery of content to the user.
LG has also confirmed to launch Lifeband Touch – a fitness tracker akin to Fitbit and the Nike Fuelband. LG’s offering will track user’s movements, calorie consumption, double as a watch and even see notifications for incoming calls or music.
LG says the Lifeband Touch will work with both Android and iOS.
LG will showcase Heart Rate Earphone that will measure heart rate with the help of optical sensor technology while a user is listening to music.
