Connecting our cars seamlessly seems to be the newest agenda, tech companies have adopted. Just like Google had announced an Open Handset Alliance, they’ve teamed up with top-tier manufacturers and tech companies to start an Open Auto Alliance (OAA).
The members include the likes of Audi, GM, Honda, Hyundai and Nvidia with OAA’s objective to accelerate auto innovation with openness, customisation and scale.
Google and its partners will use Android and will try to make the OS more friendly and conducive for cars.
There’s no other info for now but Google expects to reveal more sometime later this year.
