Curved OLED TV wasn’t the only curved thing that LG showed off today. The Korean giant also showcased the G Flex, which is their first smartphone with flexible display.
G Flex is also the first LG device to sport a 6-inch OLED display with a 1280×720 resolution. Furthermore, the phone is optimised to take advantage of the curved display like Swing Lockscreen that tilts the wallpaper according to the curve, Dual Window to utilise the large screen for improved multi-tasking, QTheater, Face Detection Indicator, improved visual when the phone is being charged, Urgent Call Alert, KnockON, Guest Mode.
On the hardware side, you’ll find Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.2GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, Android 4.2.2 OS, 13MP and 2MP cameras (rear and front), 32GB internal memory with microSD card slot, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC, DMB, 24bit/192kHz audio support and 3500mAh battery.
There’s no word on the price but LG has promised to make it available in India in February 2014.
