Given the success of Galaxy Grand in countries like India, we were certain of a successor in the near future and according to Samsung, the time has now come with the introduction of its successor dubbed as Galaxy Grand 2. In addition to better hardware and software, the interesting choice is the use of faux leather design that you’ll find in the Galaxy Note 3.
Hardware-wise, the phone comes with a 5.25-inch HD display (1280×720), is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1.5GB of RAM and boasts HSPA+ and dual-SIM connectivity, 8MP main camera, 1.9MP HD camera on the front, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS + GLONASS, 8GB internal memory, up to 64GB microSD card slot and 2600mAh battery.
The phone runs Android 4.3 and brings features like S Translator, Sound & Shot, Best Shot, Story Album, S Travel, Group Play, Samsung Hub, Samsung Link.
It will sell in black, white, pink colour options at an unspecified price in the coming weeks.
