Intex has confirmed to announce a new device this week that will be one of the first devices to be powered by MediaTek’s MT6592 processor. The big deal here is that the processor is touted to be a ‘true octa-core’ solution that will enable the device to take advantage of all the eight cores present in the SoC.
Intex hasn’t revealed the design but has happily shared the specification of the device, which will have Android 4.2.2 out of the box along with 2GB RAM, 1.7GHz MediaTek Octa-core processor, Dual-SIM support, 6-inch HD IPS LCD, 16 or 32GB internal memory, Mali450-MP4 GPU, 13MP camera with 5MP front-facing camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and FM Radio.
