As expected, Motorola unveiled its Moto G smartphone for the global market today. The smartphone is targeted towards consumers wanting a powerful device at a nominal price. The low-cost Moto G starts from $179 without contract and packs in a 4.5-inch HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core CPU, Android 4.3 out of the box with Android 4.4 KitKat at the beginning of 2014, 5MP camera and colourful shells to customise the phone’s look.
Moto G will be available in Brazil and parts of Europe from this week while within the next few weeks throughout Latin America, Europe, Canada and parts of Asia. It will be available in the US, India, the Middle East and more of Asia in early January.
The 8GB Moto G will sell for $179 whereas the 16GB Moto G will cost $199.
