HTC’s Peter Chou is still the CEO of the Taiwanese company but the executive is cutting back on his responsibilities to focus on product development. In an interview with Financial Times, Chou confirmed the move to focus on product development.
“I took on too many things. I need to be more focused on innovation and [the] product portfolio.”
Chou is delegating some of his responsibilities to Cher Wang, who assumes the role of chairman and co-founder.
We’re not sure if this development will help the ailing company but Chou seems to be optimistic expecting a “good result next year”.
