Sony to release v4.5 firmware update for PS3

Sony has confirmed that they’ll release a new firmware update for the PS3 in the next few hours. The new firmware adds features and improvements that will make downloading updates and web store purchases easier than before. For instance, auto download of software updates and purchases made from the web store has been expanded to all PSN users. Furthermore, the update adds an option to show which trophy will be visible and transfer of data from PS3 to PS Vita over Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection.
