Lava intros Iris 505 with 5-inch display, Android 4.2 OS

Lava has been rapidly expanding its smartphone lineup. The latest in line is the Iris 505 that brings a large screen experience at an affordable price tag. The Iris 505 is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 512MB RAM and features a 5-inch FWVGA display. It’s a dual-SIM device with support for up to 21Mbps, Android 4.2 OS and comes with a 5MP camera with flash, front-facing VGA, 4GB internal memory, microSD card slot and 2000mAh battery.

Lava will also integrate gesture control that allows users to browse the gallery, change FM stations without having to touch the device.

The Iris 505 will sell for Rs. 9,499.

    Iris is indeed a very good and affordable series from lava with few amazing devices like Iris 504Q but the only problem with this 505 is 512Mb of RAM. If they can increase the RAM upto 1GB for all their devices, they gonna rock
