Xiaomi has been in news for the past couple of weeks. First it was due to the departure of Google’s Hugo Barra to Xiaomi and now with the announcement of Mi3. Xiaomi at an event in Beijing announced their latest flagship Mi3 smartphone. The phone is powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 4 processor, which makes it the first smartphone to be using Nvidia’s chip and will also come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor (MSM8974AB) for another variant.
Clad in a metal case, the Mi3 features a 5-inch 1080p full HD, 1.8GHz Nvidia Tegra 4 with 4-PLUS-1 architecture or 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core CPU, 2GB RAM, 13MP snapper at the back, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, MIUI user interface, MiCloud service and 3050mAh battery.
The 16GB Mi3 is priced at 1,999 yuan ($330) while the 64GB will sell for 2,499 yuan ($410).
