HTC today announced its collaboration with Tata Docomo that will benefit both CDMA and GSM users. Over the next five months, HTC will launch new devices on the Tata network across all price points and the first device to be announced after the partnership is the HTC One Dual SIM.
The new variant adds GSM+GSM or CDMA+GSM functionality along with a microSD card slot and a removable battery cover, which are evidently missing from the original HTC One.
Apart from these differences, we’re looking at the same HTC One with Snapdragon 600 1.7GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, UltraPixel camera, 4.7-inch full HD display, Sense 5 UI and HTC exclusive features like BoomSound, BlinkFeed, Beats Audio.
HTC quotes the One Dual SIM price as Rs. 53,590 but is selling at around Rs. 46,000 at various retailers.
