At an event today in Mumbai, Intex announced the Aqua i7 smartphone. The flagship device runs Android 4.2 and is packed with powerful hardware like 1.5GHz quad-core processor, a 5-inch full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass panel, 2GB RAM, 13MP rear-facing and 5MP front-facing camera, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, 2000mAh battery. The phone does not feature any expandable memory but comes with 32GB internal memory.
On the software side, Aqua i7 features Matrabhasha – a multilingual app, My Screen app that allows to perform four functions simultaneously, Look away, which is similar Samsung’s implementation of Smart Pause and Intex Cloud service that provides 5GB of cloud storage.
The phone is priced at Rs. 21,900 and is bundled with accessories worth Rs. 5,500 that includes a flip cover, screen guard and a limited edition key chain and pen signed by actor Farhan Akhtar.
