UPDATE: Google officially announces Nexus 7.
Google will reveal its new Nexus tablet along with updated OS later today but Best Buy seems to have jumped the gun by putting the new Nexus 7 up for pre-order. The product listing confirms the previous leak with Android 4.3 OS onboard and a 7-inch display with 1920×1200 pixels resolution. Google has also swapped the SoC from Nvidia Tegra to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 Pro 8064 1.5GHz processor, 2GB RAM and a 5MP rear-facing with 1.2MP front-facing camera.
Rounding up the spec sheet is the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 16GB and 32GB internal storage and 1-cell lithium-polymer battery with up to 9 hours of battery life.
The 16GB Nexus 7 will sell for $229.99 while the 32GB variant will go for $269.99.
