Given how the consumer demand is for larger-sized smartphones these days, Nokia too, has announced a new Lumia device to cater to the trend. It’s the Lumia 625 that comes with a 4.7-inch display with WVGA (480×800) resolution, LTE for LTE-enabled markets and the Lumia Amber update bringing new features to the Windows Phone 8 OS.
On the hardware side, the Lumia 625 features a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 512MB RAM, 5MP main camera with front-facing VGA cam, 8GB internal memory, microsD card slot, 2000mAh battery and changeable polycarbonate covers just like the entry-level Lumias. Nokia has also teamed up with Coloud to bundle BOOM headphones for improved audio performance.
In addition to the Amber update, the phone also features apps like Nokia Smart Camera, Cinemagraph, HERE maps, Nokia Music.
The phone will sell for 220 euros from Q3 2013 in China, Europe, Asia Pacific, India, Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
