HTC today expanded its Desire range with the introduction of Desire 500 in Taiwan. The mid-range phone is targeted at the youth with its compact and dual colour design. The phone packs in a 4.3-inch display with WVGA resolution (800×480) and boasts a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor. Additionally, it comes with an 8MP main camera, 1.6MP front snapper, Sense 5 with BlinkFeed and Video Highlights. Although the absence of Zoe is understandable, lack of BoomSound is disappointing.
The phone will go for NT$11900 or about US$400 in Taiwan.
