Nvidia expected to ship their SHIELD consoles by end of this month but a technical snag has hit Nvidia’s maiden handheld gaming console. According to a blog post on Nvidia’s official blog, SHIELD will be shipped by next month due to a mechanical component not passing their quality check.
Nvidia says they’re working with the supplier to sort this issue but is disappointing news for consumers who waited to get their hands on the device early. Nevertheless, I hope Nvidia compensates early adopters with some free games for the delay.
