HTC has announced a new device in the mid-range segment that brings in decent specs at an affordable price. The Desire 600 runs Android Jelly Bean OS and brings in some of the features you’d find on HTC’s flagship One phone. The Desire 600 features Sense 5 and supports BlinkFeed that shows all the important news and social networking feeds on the home screen and BoomSound that features dual front-facing speakers with built-in amplifiers.
On the hardware side, the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and dual-SIM support. There’s also a 4.5-inch Super LCD2 qHD (960×540) display, 8MP camera with 720p HD video recording support, front-facing 1.6MP camera and 1860mAh battery.
HTC will start selling the Desire 600 from early next month in Russia, Ukraine and EMEA.
