It’s no surprise that companies experiment with a lot of products and form factors in their R&D labs. And Apple is on the forefront when it comes to such devices. Admittedly, not many products see the light of the day but a new report by New York Times claims that Apple is currently working on a wristwatch-like device that is made of curved glass.
This is obviously unconfirmed by Apple but NYT’s sources tell them that it could run on Apple iOS and if were to take a wild guess, would be more of complementary device to the iPhone or the iPad. It means this wearable device could be used to take calls, check messages, voice command support and may even track user’s heart rate, number of steps walked and so on.
