Lenovo unveils Y500 and Z500 notebooks in India

Lenovo has expanded its IdeaPad range for the Indian market with the introduction of Y500 and Z500 notebooks. The Y500 is packed off the two that features the latest generation Intel Core processors, up to Nvidia GeForce GT650M GPU, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB HDD, 15.6-inch full HD display, JBL speakers with Dolby support, backlit keyboard, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports and an UltraBay that can be used to instantly swap dual graphics capability, increased storage or additional fan for cooling,

IdeaPad Z500 is touted to be one of the slimmest laptops but comes with some decent innards like 15.6-inch 1366×768 display, up to 3rd generation Core i7 CPU, GeForce GT645M GPU, up to 8GB RAM and up to 1TB HDD.

Both laptops run Windows 8 OS and comes with 2 years of warranty that also includes accidental damage warranty.

Y500 will sell for Rs. 64,290 whereas the Z500 will go for Rs. 48,990.
