Nvidia’s announcement of Tegra 4 wasn’t much of a surprise but the announcement of its own gaming console dubbed Project Shield surely was. This gaming console from Nvidia is expected in the next few months and speaking to the Nvidia reps at their booth, they claim the device will be priced aggressively.
Whatever it would be, Nvidia’s entry in the gaming console market looks exciting.
To rehash, Project Shield is powered by their new Tegra 4 processor and has a ‘Shield Mode’ to activate Tegra-enabled games. Furthermore, it comes with a 5-inch HD display, console-grade controller buttons, microSD card slot, HDMI port and can play PC Steam games through streaming.
